Truffle hunting is one of the most exciting experiences Tuscany has to offer. The precious tuber grows spontaneously in the woods of the Valdichiana but it can be easily found only in the company of an expert truffle hunter and a trained dog. The charm of this experience lies in the desire for discovery, in a precious hunt for the treasures of nature.

Once you’re at the farm you will meet the expert truffle hunter who will share with you his history and curious anecdotes about his truffle hunting in the woods of the Valdichiana. He will introduce you to his faithful companion, who will make your truffle hunt even more exciting. Once you’re in the woods, let yourself be guided by the sense of smell  of the truffle dog: open your eyes when it starts digging, because it means the truffle is close! You can find both black and white Tuscan truffles, depending on the season.

After the hunt you will return to the farm, where you will be able to witness the truffle selection and discover its secrets. Now the long-awaited time to taste the prized product arrives: a lunch at the farm awaits you, consisting of a 5-course menu all based on truffles. You will taste delicious dishes of the local cuisine that enhance the unique taste of the Tuscan truffle, thus being able to further deepen your knowledge of the tuber.
