A path immersed amongst the hills of Valdichiana, among its breathtaking landscapes and the unspoiled nature that characterizes these Tuscan lands. The route crosses the valley throughout space and time: the stretch crosses the entire Valdichiana following exactly the great reclamation work carried out in the era of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, from Chiusi to Arezzo, for over 60km in the heart of the Valdichiana.
The path is forbidden to cars, it is a cycle/pedestrian path suitable for those who want to admire nature at their own pace. The route is flat and perfect for family sports tourism or for those who want to resume physical activity gradually. Anyone can walk the path in complete autonomy and tranquility and, if there is enough time, you can take advantage of the beautiful villages nearby, such as Marciano della Chiana, Foiano della Chiana or many others. To better appreciate the Sentiero della Bonifica it is necessary to dedicate time to it. Time is the true and only key of interpretation to travel through the natural landscape of Valdichiana and admire its beauties.
