The Contemporary Art Gallery of Civitella in Val di Chiana collects the works of painters who, over the years, have participated in the national painting competition "City of Civitella Award", established in 1964, to give cultural impetus to the local community in the aftermath of the Second War world. The Gallery houses 98 paintings and 41 sculptures: a contemporary art path that opens with pieces from the early 1970s to exceptional works by contemporary artists.
